Sometimes a “reboot” or “reset” can make all of the difference. It can come in the form of a summer vacation, or be as simple as a long, hot bath with no distractions (that means no cell phone!). This weekend I had a chance to go up to Vermont and enjoy the clean country air, the view of the green mountains, and with limited cell phone service, managed to “disconnect” from the world for just a few days.
The reboot can do wonders for the soul, and of course the body as well. I would highly recommend everyone with arthritis – and all chronic conditions for that matter – give themselves a moment to reboot and center themselves.
I woke up this Monday morning excited for the week ahead, grateful for the pause I took, and eager to do it again soon.
