Arthritis never felt so good

They are getting bigger and bigger. In Birmingham last year, we had 15 people in the pool and about 50 for lunch. Last month in Miami we had 52 in the water and more than 400 for lunch. Phoenix and Monroe, North Carolina are August 5 and 8, and Monroe has more than 100 people signed up to get wet. Phoenix isn't far behind. The A-Games work.

So far, the oldest person to participate was 95. The youngest is Seth at 20.

The objective is to, as the author Sue Bender says, "Stop practicing struggling and start practicing enjoying."

When people leave the A-Games we expect them to say this is the best time they've had wet in years, whether they're vertical aerobic exercisers, range-of-motion aficionados or horizontal swimmers.

Our research shows pain levels drop dramatically when people exercise in the water, even when they don't get their hair wet.
