ARHP Advanced Practice Skills Training Course

Presented by the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP, a division of the American College of Rheumatology), this unique hands-on course will give patient volunteers the
opportunity to assist health professionals in the training of proper
examination for musculoskeletal abnormalities, joint tenderness and
swelling.
Patient volunteers will assist during the breakout sessions held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Other activities will be running from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Patient volunteers must be:
1. Willing to participate with a hands-on joint examination for tenderness and swelling.
2. Available from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
The examinations will be broken into several small adult and pediatric groups, with one patient per group.
For their service, volunteers will receive:
1. Complimentary registration to this session
2. An honoraria
3. Reimbursement for ground transportation and parking
4. Complimentary lunch
