What is CreakyTown?
"CreakyTown" is the first of its kind: an engaging one- or two-day event for the whole family with a strong emphasis on ending the separation that arthritis causes, whether it's emotional separation between family members suffering from arthritis or it's a physical separation from that activities people with arthritis want--and need--to do.
CreakyTown will be a mixture of a road show, health fair, conference and exposition. The theme, 'Putting Arthritis on the Map' will incorporate many of the day-to-day activities that people find most enjoyable, and equate those activities with living with arthritis. Participants will travel through the six neighborhoods of CreakyTown and enjoy an array of activities designed to help equate healthy living and arthritis with fun, activity, education, and hope.
At the end of the day visitors to CreakyTown will look back and say this was one of the best days they've had in a long time. They'll take a look at the ways they can change their lives through both personal and public actions and they'll be able to say "I Can" to a disease that too often says "You Can't."
