My Dad's gone

Daddy passed away peacefully late this afternoon with my Mom, sister, me, and Mom's two sisters-in-law at his side. We're relieved his long years of suffering from myriad ailments are over.

I can't say enough about the Hospice staff and volunteers - they are truly angels on earth.

Carolan -  my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I went thru all this with my mom 20 yrs ago-you are right, I couldn't have done it without hospice. My thoughts are with you in the days to come as you say your final good-byes.  Sending you a big hug.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.  I agree that your father is in a better place, where there is no more pain and suffering.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.  I lost my father almost 5 years ago now and he had hospic and they were great.  I'm here if you need anyone to talk too.
