What's your Favorite Foods?

Posted by bigted at October 03. 2008

I am curious (or just plain nosey) what's your favorite food that you like to make (and eat)?

Mine is shepherds pie (made with ground lamb).

Just because I feel like being really nosey - what is your favorite food to order out?

For me I love to eat heart stopping artery clogging deep fried battered fish and chips!

Needless to say I don't eat out very often.

Hi Big Ted, hope you are doing better. I had heard you were not feeling well. It's good to see you back.

My favorite food to eat at home is my daughter's spaghetti and garlic bread. It is wonderful...Eating out I always order Haddock (baked) and a baked potatoe with gobs of butter....

Is there any other food?

Okay, Pizza but only from the Northeast, I have had Pizza in other parts of the US and it isn't the same, and of course the one and only Philly Cheese Steaks!!!

For me it has to be Lamb Rump Steak with Fresh Vegetables and Roast Potatoes cooked at home.

When eating out I just love Lamb Rogan Josh from one of our hundreds of fantastic Indian restaurants in my home town

Sorry, along with the Lamb Rogan Josh goes a portion of Prawn Pilau Rice, A Peshwari Nan and a side dish of Sag Bhaji.

To wash it all down if I don't have Red Wine then it would be a bottle of Kingfisher Indian Lager.

ummm Shepards pie. Makes me want some. My favorite food is stuffing. The way my mom makes it. Then it would be saurkraut. Again cooked my way.

My fave food to eat out is cheese cake. I am a cheese cake snob and only like new york cheese cake. (I can make this too. But takes too much time. ie waiting for it to cool.)

Hi bigted!

My favorite food is chicken and sausage gumbo (made by my husband)!  It is the best!

We have a local resturant (our town has only 80 residents) that has a Friday special called Higgs platter.  It has shrimp cooked 5 different ways!  Sooo yummy!  I love shrimp!

Hey Bigted,

You sound like a product of the UK! I lived in England for nine months, and both of those foods were wildly popular. About that Shepherd's Pie...do you eat it in the style of Scotland? (It is their national dish). If in doubt, do a little research and let me know...some folks may think it is gross! :)
