Strange sensation

 Hello,

I am new to the board but not to RA.  I was diagnosed at age 28 and am now 51.  In all my years of dealing with this lovely condition I have never had this problem so thought I would ask.  In recent weeks I have developed a burning sensation in my elbows and knees.  At times the burning runs from the elbow down the forearm or the front of my leg.  Not like the heat that you feel during a flare but a burning.  Very strange.

I am taking mtx 20mg and Humira 1xwk, cataflam (like mobic).  Anyone else have this problem?

I have had something similar though my Rheumy chalked it up to radiating RA & Fibro pain since i was in the midst of a huge flare and my RA was out of control... I would check with your Rheumy o make sure.

I do have fibro and I was wondering last night if that may be the problem.  Guess I should break down and call the MD.  sigh
