I'm new here but not new to Arthritis?

Hi Folks:

            My name is Bob and I am the Secretary/Treasurer of the Inter Stills Disease Foundation Inc. One of our Folks told us about this web site and I had to check it out. This is a very nice web site and you have done an excellent job. I was really pleased to see the video on Stills Disease as it has not been publicized enough? Most of our members are victims of the Adult Onset Stills Disease (AOSD). I myself do not have Stills Disease, but have Osteoarthritis just about anywhere you want to check on my body but mainly in my spine. I do utilize the services of a fine Pain Clinic and Pain Doctor and get a lot of relief from same. My Daughter was the one who had Stills Disease and she passed away in Jan 1999, from Stills Disease, or should I say complications arising from some medications she had started taking (Enbrel) which had been a new drug at the time and they didn't know that it shouldn't be given to a patient with respiratory problems and she was in a full blown respiratory situation of almost pneumonia. Don't get me wrong now as Enbrel is a very good drug if used properly but they just didn't know about this side effect until afterward. Well, that's about it for now so keep up the good work on this site. It really is great and I will be sending others over to view it. Ya'll take care now!
