New to forum
Hi,
I'm new here but not to arthritis. I've had RA since I was a teenager. Also I have osteo, spondyolitis, stenosis,fm,raynaud's,copd, partially sighted,paraplgia,myositis.....yeah I'm a train wreck.Life is hard at times but I get through alright .
My RA is progressing faster these days. I'm unable to take the RA medications because I'm very allergic or the side effects were really bad for me . So mostly I try to do stretching excercizes as much as i'm able too ,and pain meds . I try not to take to many pain meds and muscle relaxer as they make my stomach bad. Also take other meds for all my other problems.
I have a wonderful family who support me most of the time. Sometime they get a bit upset because I get sick a lot but they try hard to undestand .
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all . Since I've been stuck at home the computor is my biggest source of outside contact .
Well I geuss that all for now.
Thank you for the opportunity to get to know you,
Trippy

I was diagnosed at 13 with JRA and RA at 18, I have also been diagnosed with Klippel-Feil Syndrome, Scoliosis (part of Klippel Feil). Osteoarthritis (cervical spine) Sjogrens Syndrome, Glaucoma and Hypothyroidism. You will find that many of us are either working from Home, on disability, stay at home and some are still working outside the home.
Seth, Dr. Laurie and the rest of the Creaky staff are just fabuluos to chat with, they are all a group of caring individuals.
Would you be willing to share which meds you have been exposed too? We do discuss new drugs and therapies that are out there, the newest topic is Gene Replacement Therapy that looks promising.
Once again welcome, I have plenty of time to read the board until March 9th when I have to return to work after being on Short Term Disability since December. Not sure if this is a good thing or not!! The rest of the ladies and gents would love to get a break from me I am sure....
Once again welcome to the group everyone here is wonderful a very friendly group, you will notice there is usually no negativity.
Tess
Thank you both for the warm welcome. I couldn't have come at a better time.
Last I ruptured a tendon or two in my hand. I'm not sure how it happened though . Just felted a painful snap then hand went numb. I have to check out the site now for tips about this.
My hands a pretty twiked anyways so numbness and fingers curving are nothing new.
I try to check out the web cast ,that is if my daughter will let me use her computor laster on. =)
