Please log-in.
Click the "My account" link in the top right corner of any CJ page.
Click the "View and edit my profile" link.
Delete all of the text in the "Your Name" field. By leaving this field blank, all of your column comments and Creaky Board posts will be attributed to your log-in username.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save."

A CreakyJoints RSS feed is like a magazine -- subscribe to it, and new issues (CJ columns, articles, podcasts or videos) will be automatically delivered to your computer.
Know of content you'd like automatically delivered? Navigate to its page on the CJ site.
If an RSS feed exists, you'll see it listed in the far-right column of the page with this icon:
Click on the icon.
Your Web browser or e-mail program will then ask you to confirm your subscription (depending on which you've selected to handle RSS feeds -- the default is your Web browser).
New CreakyJoints content will then be delivered directly to your computer as it's published.

Every other Tuesday, we send one plain-text e-mail newsletter listing the site's latest updates, as well as news and opportunities from our partners.
Look for the "Subscribe to Our Newsletter" window in the far-right column of any CreakyJoints page.
Type in the e-mail address at which you'd like to receive the newsletter.
Click "Subscribe."
Information on how to confirm your subscription will be sent to the address you specified.
Follow the instructions in your e-mail to start receiving the newsletter.

Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click the SEND THIS link.
In the e-mail form that appears, enter your recipient's e-mail address in the first box.
Enter your e-mail address in the second box (which will appear in the "from" line of the e-mail).
And, if you'd like, enter a personal comment in the third box.
Click SEND. CreakyJoints.org will then generate and send an e-mail to your friend, acquaintance or loved one -- containing a link to the page of interest (and a personal comment, if you wrote one).

Please LOG IN.
Navigate to the column.
If you're looking at the individual column post's page (the Web address includes the post's title), scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Add Comment" button.
If you're looking at the column post within a collection of all such posts (the Web address includes only the name of the column), scroll to the bottom of the post and click on the "Comments" text link.
Type in your comment as if you were writing on The Creaky Board. Click SAVE.

Click on a listing in the Events section.
Locate the Event Info table (listing What, When, Where, and Contact Info).
In the "Add Event to Calendar" row, click on the "vCal" or "iCal" link to download an event file to your computer.
Locate the file on your hard drive and open it. Your default calendar application should then display the event, with contact info and Web addresses included.

Please be sure you're logged in.
Click on their username above any Creaky Board post.
Enter a subject and message for your e-mail.
Click "SEND."
(Your message will then be sent to the CJ member's provided e-mail address.)

Scroll to the bottom of any article or column you want to share.
Click the "SHARE THIS" link.
Then click the link for Facebook, MySpace or any social networking site you use to bring up its sharing window.
Enter your recipient(s) and any personal message you'd like into the sharing window and click "SEND."

At CreakyJoints, we've tried to eliminate all that Web "junk" that appears on your page when you print an article.

Log in, then click on "My account" in the top right corner of your screen.
Click on "View and edit my profile."
In the "Portrait" section, you'll find a "Browse" button. Click this to search your hard drive for an image to upload.
Recommended image size is 75 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall.
(If you need to resize your pictures, you can do so with Google's free Picasa program for Windows, or Apple's iPhoto for Macs.)
Select your picture and click "OK."
Scroll to the bottom of your edit profile screen and click "Save."

Scroll to the toolbar at the bottom of any CreakyJoints.org page.
To make text larger, click on the far right "A."
To make text smaller (say, if your computer screen's resolution is already zoomed in), click on the far left "A."

Visit the EVENTS section.
Below the "Search Site" field (in the top right corner of the page), click "only in current section."
In the Search field, begin typing your hometown, your state, or major cities around you -- and watch the results come pouring in.
