SITE FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to join CreakyJoints?

Absolutely nothing:  it's free. And we won't ask you for a donation to help run the site, either. Ever.

So you guys will eventually sell my name and e-mail, won't you?

We won't do that either without your explicit permission. Your goodwill is too valuable to us.

So how does CreakyJoints stay in business?

Thanks to generous sponsors who care about how you feel and ways to make you feel better.

Do I need to have arthritis to become a member of CreakyJoints?

No, but it helps to know and care about someone with arthritis. And don't forget, Old-Man-Arthritis may be knocking on your door in a few years, so it's good to be prepared!

Who led the American League in home runs in 1956?

That would be Mickey Mantle of New York.

Is CreakyJoints just a "dot com"? And if so, shouldn't the stock price have dropped by now?

CreakyJoints was originally created as a "dot com" (CreakyJoints.com), when the Internet was the place to be. However, for the past three years we have expanded off-line to include wellness and exercise programs that help people with arthritis continue to lead healthier, active lives.

We have also changed our name to CreakyJoints.org to reflect our inclusion in the Global Healthy Living Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

What is the recommended age for the CreakyJoints Web site?

Since arthritis doesn't care if you're young or old, neither do we. Kids like the colors of the site. Teens like Seth's Diary. Young adults like Ms. Meniscus. Adults and seniors like Creak the Dog. And teenage girls like Seth's picture. There is something for everyone.

Can I be a contributing writer?

Absolutely. We enjoy reading member submitted works, poems, stories, articles, you name it.  Have an idea?  To contact us, click here.
