Biography of CreakyJoints' Co-Founder and President.

Biography of CreakyJoints Co-Founder and President, Seth Ginsberg, on CreakyJoints.org | Your Arthritis HomepageSeth Ginsberg is the Co-Founder and President of CreakyJoints ( CreakyJoints.org ), an arthritis advocacy organization he helped create out of a college dorm room bunk bed a decade ago.

Diagnosed with Spondylarthritis (also known as spondyloarthropathy) at 13, Seth quickly realized the importance of support, education, advice and up-to-date information for people living with a chronic illness such as arthritis.  CreakyJoints -- an innovative advocacy group with over 35,000 registered users -- fills this need.

Seth and CreakyJoints continue to move beyond online social networking with events such as free Healthy Living Forums and A-Games (Arthritis Games) held in local communities throughout the U.S. and Europe.  These events allow CreakyJoints to create a positive and nurturing environment face-to-face, holding hands with America and reinforcing the online experience.

As the primary spokesman for CreakyJoints' patient advocacy, Seth has traveled the world meeting with arthritis patients, families and physicians.  In the U.S., he works with Congress and health-related Congressional Committees, participating in the national health care conversation on behalf of people living with arthritis and other chronic illnesses, as well as with employers, health insurance companies, local and state governments, and other patient and physician advocacy groups.

Seth lives in Manhattan, New York.  In his free time, he practices fire juggling and card magic, and is a member of the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood, CA.  He is a board member of Temple Shaaray Tefila in NYC, as well as the Global Healthy Living Foundation, a 501(c)(3) operating charity -- which he also co-founded with social entrepreneur Louis Tharp, and includes CreakyJoints and other disease-specific online and offline communities.
