Calling all butterfly advocates

“Each smallest act of kindness, reverberates across great distances and spans of time—affecting lives unknown to the one who’s generous spirit, was the source of this good echo” ~Dean KoontzCalling all butterfly advocates

Heard of the butterfly effect? It’s a theory that small actions can cause large scale actions. The theory goes something like a butterfly flapping its wing starts a chain reaction that can lead to something as major as a hurricane. (Sorry scientists and physicists, I’m sure I somehow butchered the science). Sound kind of insane? Well it’s really not if we think about social movements. Every small action can build up to a much larger change.

Changing the healthcare system to become more patient centered and focused is our end game. It seems super daunting and challenging to attempt to do that alone. Good thing we aren’t. We urge you to remember that we are all butterflies flapping our wings in our own way. And know that there are people over at CreakyJoints ready to help you. You can do something to create change.

We have so many suggestions to help you get started: from sending a tweet, to calling a friend, to Joining Seth’s 50 State Network; you are part of the force to change the world.
Come fly with us.

Yours in advocacy,

Joe
